The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 was one of those seasons when batters had the edge over bowlers, and sixes and fours went off the bat too often, leading to massive targets. As the year comes to an end, here’s a recap of the batters who scored the maximum number of sixes in the 2025 edition of the IPL.

Nicholas Pooran

West Indies power hitter Nicholas Pooran topped the chart with his 40 sixes in 14 matches. Playing for the Gujarat Titans, Pooran also scored 524 runs at an average of 43.66 with a highest score of 87 not out. Throughout the tournament, his average strike rate remained at 196.25. In 14 games, he registered five 50s.

Shreyas Iyer

Punjab Kings skipper Shreyas Iyer proved his worth of INR 26.75 crore by taking the team to their second-ever IPL final. Iyer’s captaincy wasn’t only on point, but also his batting, as he scored 39 sixes, the second highest in the tournament. Overall, he scored 604 runs in 17 matches, including six half-centuries at an average of 50.33 and 175.07. He missed a century by three runs, scoring 97, which was his highest individual score this season.

Suryakumar Yadav

Known as India’s Mr. 360, sixes coming off Suryakumar Yadav’s bat are a common phenomenon. Therefore, it is no surprise that he sits third on this list with 38 sixes scored in 16 matches. He was also one of the highest run scorers in the tourney, hitting 717 runs at an average of 167.91, including five half-centuries. Not to forget, SKY was also one of the highest four hitters with 69 fours scored in the tournament.

Mitchell Marsh

Lucknow Super Giants’ Mitchell Marsh secured the fourth rank on this list because of his 56 sixes in 13 matches. Marsh is one of the nine players this season with a century and has also hit six half-centuries. Overall, he scored 627 runs at an average of 163.70.

Prabhsimran Singh

The fifth player on this list is Punjab Kings’ Prabhsimran Singh. The youngster, in 17 matches, hit 30 sixes and, overall, scored 549 runs at a strike rate of 160.52. He also scored four half-centuries and missed a century by merely nine runs, hitting a highest individual score of 91 this season.
