Some losses feel immensely personal. Sushant Singh Rajput's demise (on June 14 back in 2020) was one such. It's been four years since then, and the void that the actor left behind is still there. His incredible charm, his radiant smile, his unparalleled intellect (that was evident in all his interviews), and obviously his stellar performances continue to reign supreme in our hearts, reminding us of the phenomenon that he was!

But more than his achievements as an actor, it was his persona off the screen that resonated with us. Sushant Singh Rajput Was Trained In Martial Arts

Yes, you read it right! Sushant Singh Rajput was a man of many talents, and what set him apart was his interest in learning everything. 

For a sequence in 'Raabta', Rajput needed to look muscular and showcase great combat skills. And he realized that he needed to learn martial arts in order to bring perfection to the screen.

The actor and his team initially tried to find a good martial arts trainer in Mumbai. However, as he couldn't find one, he flew to Bangkok and trained martial arts for a few weeks.

According to some reports, he went through three weeks of hard-core weapons and gymnastics training in Bangkok. He also maintained a strict diet and workout regimen to get the perfect physique. Well, this only showcases how dedicated he was to his craft. 

Sushant Singh Rajput - Some Other Interesting Facts 

Rajput was a brilliant student in his high school and aspired to become an engineer. He ranked seventh in the entrance exam of the Delhi College of Engineering (DCE). Besides, he also cleared 11 other entrance exams for engineering. However, he eventually dropped out of college to pursue his acting career. 

He started his acting career on stage. In fact, it was while performing in the play, 'Kis Desh Mai Hai Mera Dil' that he got noticed by one from Balaji Telefilms. 

He worked as a background dancer before making his debut as a lead actor. Not many know that he was one of the background dancers in Hrithik Roshan's 'Dhoom 2'.

He was extremely into physics and even wanted to become an astronaut someday. He had several expensive telescopes at his home and even bought a piece of land on the Moon. Also, for his film 'Chanda Mama Door Ke' (which later got shelved), he trained at NASA for some time. 

He was ambidextrous, which means he could write with both his hands.
