Sanya Malhotra will next be seen in Atlee's upcoming film ‘Jawan’ with Shah Rukh Khan.

It would not be wrong to say that Shah Rukh Khan's ‘Jawan’ is one of the most anticipated films of this year. Directed by Atlee, the film was earlier expected to release on June 2, 2023, but soon the makers ended up changing it and announced the new release date. The film will not hit the silver screen until September 7, 2023.

The film, apart from SRK, also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and Ridhi Dogra. Now, adding to the excitement, actress Sanya Malhotra has confirmed that she will be seen in the movie and will be seen sharing screen space with SRK too. Calling the film a dream come true for her, Sanya indeed confirmed that she is part of the project.

In an interview with The Indian Express, Sanya shared her excitement and said, "I am excited because I can finally talk about it. Before this, I would give some really weird answers every time I was asked whether I am in ‘Jawan’ or not. I always hoped to work with SRK one day, so it is a dream come true. I cannot wait to see myself around him; it is a dream role, a dream film. Just to be around him makes me really happy."

Meanwhile, on the work front, the actress will next be seen in ‘Kathal’, which will have a digital release on Netflix. She also has Meghna Gulzar's Sam Bahadur lined up in the pipeline, which stars her alongside Vicky Kaushal and Fatima Sana Shaikh.

Touted to be an action thriller, 'Jawan' features the music of Ashvin Ravichandran and cameos by Deepika Padukone, Vijay, Sanjay Dutt, and Allu Arjun.

Shah Rukh, who is basking in the glory of his last blockbuster, ‘Pathaan’, also has Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki’ in the pipeline. He will also have a cameo in Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger 3’.
