Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Spotted: Six Motorcycles That RE Has in Its Pipeline for FY2024

In 2023, Royal Enfield lit the 400-500cc adventure-tourer segment on fire by launching the Himalayan 450, a motorcycle that has proved to be the adventurer-tourer in the mentioned segment. In fact, in some aspects, the motorcycle surpassed the KTM 390 ADV, which has always been at the top in the 400-500cc adventure-tourer category. Following the Himalayan’s launch, Royal Enfield launched the Shotgun – the company’s 650cc, parallel-twin powered bobber-styled motorcycle.

Now, the company’s other motorcycle, which will be called the Guerrilla 450, has been spotted in testing. Going by the spy shots, the motorcycle will be a neo-retro roadster with a tear-drop fuel tank and single-seat assembly. The motorcycle’s rear section looks similar to the Himalayan’s, with a tail light and indicators integrated as one. Royal Enfield’s brand-new Sherpa 450cc engine is expected to power the Guerrilla 450, and it is expected to churn at the same 40hp and 40Nm torque as it does on the Himalayan 450.

However, the Guerrilla 450 misses out on several premium hardware features, and therefore, it is expected to be launched within a price bracket of INR 2.40 lakh – 2.60 lakh, ex-showroom. Unfortunately, the launch date of the motorcycle has not been revealed by Royal Enfield. Therefore, while we wait for the motorcycle’s arrival, let us look at some other motorcycles that are in Royal Enfield’s pipeline, as reported by Autocar India.

Royal Enfield Interceptor Bear 650

Royal Enfield is likely to work on its first adventure-tourer motorcycle based on the parallel-twin engine. As per the Autocar India report, unlike the existing parallel-twin models, the Bear 650 will not feature a dual exhaust system, which will help the model reduce some weight.

Royal Enfield Classic 650

The Classic 350 is one of the highest-selling motorcycles from the Royal Enfield stable, and therefore, it is not a surprise that Enfield is likely to launch the Classic 650. While the design language can be expected to be the same as the Classic 350, the 650 could derive the subframe from the Shotgun. In our book of thoughts, the Classic 650 should have been launched a lot earlier.

Royal Enfield Scram 440

Given how the Scram 411 followed the Himalayan 411, we expected the Scram 450 to follow the newly-launched Himalayan. For the record, the present Scram 411 is powered by a 411cc, air-cooled engine that makes a peak power of 24.31PS at 6,500rpm and begins at a price of INR 2.06 lakh, ex-showroom.

The Scram 440 has been spotted on multiple occasions with what looks like 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends, telescopic forks in place of USD, a smaller fuel tank, and a single-seat setup. Not to forget, the spotted motorcycle also looks like it has lost some ground clearance and even suspension travel on both ends. Given that the Scram will directly take on the Triumph Scrambler 400 X, expect the price-tag to be around 2.60 lakh, ex-showroom.

Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350

Last but not least, Royal Enfield also has plans to launch the Goan Classic 350, a Classic 350 in a bobber-style avatar with whitewall tyres.

It will be interesting to see how soon these motorcycles will reach our showrooms.
