Pixar Animation Studios brings us a coming-of-age sequel with ‘Inside Out 2,’ produced for Walt Disney Pictures. Directed by Kelsey Mann in his feature directorial debut, this film continues the story from the 2015 hit, ‘Inside Out.’ In this instalment, Riley the 13-year old girl’s familiar emotions encounter new ones eager to take control of her mind. ‘Inside Out 2’ had its grand premiere at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles on June 10, 2024, and hit theatres across the United States on June 14, 2024. Just like its predecessor, it garnered praise from critics. Returning voice talents in the film include Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, Lewis Black, Diane Lane, and Kyle MacLachlan, joined by exciting new additions to the cast. Tony Hale

Tony Hale, an American actor and comedian, is widely recognized for his portrayal of Buster Bluth in the Fox comedy series ‘Arrested Development.’ He also starred as Gary Walsh in the HBO comedy ‘Veep’ from 2012 until its conclusion in 2019, a role that earned him the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in both 2013 and 2015. In ‘Inside Out 2,’ Tony Hale takes on the role of Fear, the purple, anxious emotion, replacing Bill Hader from the original film.

Liza Lapira

Liza Lapira, a Filipino-American actress, has made a name for herself with notable roles across television and film. Her first major role was a series regular on the Showtime TV series ‘Huff.’ She also portrayed Kianna in the 2008 film ‘21,’ Special Agent Michelle Lee in the CBS police procedural series ‘NCIS,’ and Ivy, Topher Brink's assistant, in ‘Dollhouse.’ In ‘Inside Out 2,’ Lapira joins the cast as Disgust, the green emotion, taking over the role previously voiced by Mindy Kaling.

Maya Hawke

Adèle Exarchopoulos
