Wearing a white kurti adorned with floral designs and paired with a pink dupatta and earrings, she captioned the post, “Pushpa Pandey is backkkkk and looking pretty in Pink #JollyLLB3.” Huma portrays the character of Akshay Kumar's on-screen spouse in the franchise. Arshad Warsi, who made a memorable mark as the titular character in the series' inaugural film, is also set to make a return in 'Jolly LLB 3.' Arshad Warsi portrayed Advocate Jagdish Tyagi, famously known as Jolly, in the first 'Jolly LLB' film. His character tirelessly pursued justice for six innocent labourers, challenging the dominance of the affluent and confronting judicial corruption head-on. Meanwhile, Huma Qureshi appeared in the second instalment as Pushpa Pandey, the wife of Akshay Kumar's character Jolly. The upcoming third instalment will reunite these two actors after a decade.
Their last collaboration was in the 2014 film 'Dedh Ishqiya,' a black comedy directed by Abhishek Chaubey. Starring Arshad Warsi, Naseeruddin Shah, Madhuri Dixit, Huma Qureshi, and Vijay Raaz, 'Dedh Ishqiya' serves as a sequel to 'Ishqiya.' While 'Dedh Ishqiya' achieved moderate commercial success, it garnered mixed-to-positive reviews from critics upon its release. The film, characterised by its elaborate and intricate narrative, seamlessly navigates through various genres such as action, comedy, romance, and social commentary. In 'Dedh Ishqiya,' Arshad Warsi portrayed Razzaq Hussain, also known as Babban, and Huma Qureshi starred as Muneera Aslam Zia-ul-Banu.
Directed and penned by Subhash Kapoor, 'Jolly LLB 3', the third chapter in the franchise, features a stellar cast including Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Huma Qureshi, Saurabh Shukla, and Arjun Panchal. Arshad and Akshay have also reunited for 'Welcome to the Jungle', the third instalment of the comedy franchise 'Welcome'. Currently, both actors are immersed in the filming of 'Jolly LLB 3'. Arshad initially led the ensemble in the first film, only to pass the baton to Akshay in the sequel.
