Another financial year is ending, so car manufacturers are doing their best to rack up their sales figures. To do so, several manufacturers are offering drool-worthy discounts and other deals on a number of cars. In the following paragraphs, we have compiled a list of the best discounts and deals that are being offered on cars in March 2024.

*Note that these discounts may vary or may not be applicable in every city or state.

Maruti Suzuki

Indian car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki is offering discounts on several cars in its lineup. The premium hatchback Ignis has a discount offer of up to INR 79,000, whereas Baleno’s CNG variant has a discount offer of up to INR 33,000. A discount offer of INR 48,000 is also available on the petrol variant of the Baleno hatch.

The Ciaz and XL6 also get impressive discounts of INR 53,000 and Rs 20,000, respectively. On the other hand, the Grand Vitara’s CNG variant is being offered with benefits of up to INR 4,000, whereas other variants have an offer of up to INR 59,000. The Grand Vitara hybrid has the highest discount offer of up to INR 79,000.

The Fronx is also being offered with a discount of up to INR 50,000, whereas the Jimny is being offered with the highest discount offer of up to INR 1.5 lakh. A cash discount of INR 50,000 and a corporate discount of INR 3,000 are also available on the Jimny, subject to eligibility.

MG Motor India

MG Motor India is offering great discounts on its flagship Hector SUV in India. The Hector is now available at INR 14 lakh, which is 95,000 less than the original price tag. For the record, it seems MG has been struggling to meet its sales target because this is the second massive price cut for Hector in the last six months. MG has also launched the Shine Pro Hector, which replaces the outgoing Shine trim of the Hector, with the Pro being INR 44,000 more economical than the Shine. After the revised prices, the MG Hector begins at INR 13.99 lakh for the base model, whereas the top of the trim model, named Savvy Pro, is listed at INR 21.55 lakh.

Honda

Japanese car manufacturer Honda is known for giving discount offers almost every month. However, for the first time, the company is offering a discount on the Elevate model. The Elevate, despite being a strong competitor to the Hyundai Creta and Maruti Grand Vitara, has not been able to rack up sales figures. Therefore, a cash discount of up to INR 50,000 is being offered on the Elevate, which starts at INR 11.58 lakh, ex-showroom.

The Honda Amaze is being offered an impressive cash discount of INR 35,000, or one can also opt for free accessories worth INR 41,653. Offers such as a corporate bonus of up to INR 20,000, an exchange bonus of up to INR 10,000, and a loyalty bonus of up to INR 4,000 are also available with the Amaze.

Honda is also offering a cash discount of up to INR 30,000 on the City sedan and free accessories worth up to INR 32,196. Exchange, corporate, and loyalty bonuses of up to INR 15,000, INR 20,000, and INR 4,000, respectively, are also available with the City. A benefit of up to INR 36,500 is also available on the Elegant trim.

Given that this is only the first week of March, we expect other car manufacturers to offer similar discounts. Therefore, if one is planning to purchase a car this month, it is advisable to keep an eye on the commercials or advertisements that are aired on televisions, especially the pop-up ads aired on social media platforms.
