Shamshera: The biggest production house of Bollywood, Yash Raj Films is also joining the bandwagon with this Ranbir Kapoor starrer
Set in the pre-independence era, Shamshera stars Ranbir Kapoor in a double role for the first time in his career. Also starring Sanjay Dutt and Vani Kapoor, it is a story of a dacoit tribe. Directed by Karan Malhotra of Agneepath fame, it is one of the most awaited period dramas going to hit the big screen next year.
Prithviraj: Another period drama by Yash Raj Films, this movie marks the debut of former Miss India ManushiChillar
Based on the life of the last Hindu king of Delhi, Prithviraj Chauhan, this movie has a stellar star cast of Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, SonuSood, Ashutosh Rana along with newbie ManushiChillar. Another reason that makes the movie one of the most awaited is that it’s directed by Dr. ChandraprakashDwivedi of ‘Chanakya’ fame.
Adipurush: Based on the epic ‘Ramayana’ it is one of the biggest budget movies in India
Adipurush is an adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana, which is a classic tale of good versus evil. ‘Bahubali’ star Prabhas is playing the titular role of Lord Ram, KritiSanan is playing Sita and Saif Ali Khan is essaying the role of demon King Raavan. Adipurush will hit the screens on August 11, 2022, and be touted as a mega summer release.
Maidaan: Starring Ajay Devgn, the movie is based on the golden era of Indian Football
