Vikas Khanna
When it comes to Indian chefs Vikas Khanna is always on the top of the list. Vikas is an Indian chef and cookbook writer. As he was inspired by his grandmother who loves to cook he started developing recipes and opened a banquet at Lawrence garden. He has worked with some top chefs like Gordon Ramsay and Bobby Flay. He opened two restaurants Kinara and Ellora in Dubai. He became part of the TV show master chef India and Australia. Some of his famous books are Utsav, Barkat and everyone can cook. He was awarded the best chef in India in 2014 and the Asia game changer award in 2020.
Baek Jong-won
Baekjong-won is one of the best south Korean chefs. He was born in Chung Nam, Korea. When he was a child he was interested in cooking. Baek is the CEO of The born Korea which includes 26 restaurants franchise. He also produced his series Baek spirit with Netflix. He became a judge of the veranda show and hosted K chef battlefield S2 in 2014. He is also a cookbook writer he wrote Baek Jong-won's secret recipes in 2009 and Restaurant that always succeed in 2010. He won the SBS entertainment award in 2016.
Sanjeev Kapoor
Another amazing chef from India is Sanjeev Kapoor. He was born in Ambala. He began his career in the hospitality industry but then he pursued a diploma in hotel management catering and nutrition. He was the host of a TV show KhanaKhazana which became the longest-running show in Asia and was broadcasted in 120 countries. He is the owner of yellow chili restaurant. He received the Padma Shri award in 2017 and the ITA award for the popular chef in 2015. He wrote many books some of which are cake and bake and khazana of Indian recipes.
DharshanMunidasa
DharshanMunidasa is a Sri Lankan chef. He was born in Tokyo, Japan. His father was a Sri Lankan and his mother was Japanese. He was raised in Tokyo but after his father's death, he moved to Sri Lanka. He is a self-taught chef who never went to culinary school or college. He founded two restaurants NilonBashi and ministry of crab and they both are the best 50 Asian restaurants. Both restaurants are successful as they served Japanese cuisine and used local ingredients. He was named as cool Japanese ambassador in 2014 by the Japanese government for promoting Japanese cuisine outside Japan.
