With just one day left until the release of 'Srikanth', let's discuss why you should look forward to the film.

The Remarkable True Story

The upcoming film will depict the true story of Srikanth Bolla, and this alone is enough reason to look forward to the film.

Srikanth Bolla, owner of Bollant Industries, is an extraordinary person, and his journey to success is an inspiration for everyone. He was born visually impaired and had to face numerous struggles along the way. However, being a man of unparalleled vision and strength, he defied all odds and achieved the seemingly unachievable.

After Class 10, he decided to study science but his school did not permit him to do so. So, he filed a case at the court and won the legal battle within six months. He scored 98% in his XII board exams and aspired to study engineering at the IIT. However, he was rejected from coaching institutes due to his 'disability'. That too couldn't stop him from dreaming big as he went on to bag an opportunity to study at MIT, one of the most prestigious academic institutions in the US. After completing his degree there, he came back to India and founded Bollant Industries - which has a turnover of over ₹ 150 crore.

Speaking about how he prepared for his role, Rao shared in an interview, "I spent a lot of time with Srikanth. Actually, this film is not about Srikanth being visually impaired. That is a fact but we did not focus on that. When I met him, we were very normal. We were talking, discussing, he is very witty and funny. I asked him so many questions. As an actor, it was my job to observe him and take from him. Along with Tushar, I also visited a lot of schools for visually impaired people. I have spent hours there because I wanted to portray reality on screen. Even on sets, I was always Srikanth. That was the only way I could do this part. My art is too spiritual and I love it immensely."

So, on a scale from 1 to 10, how excited are you for 'Srikanth'?
