Yes, you read it right! Nayanthara, the Lady Superstar of Tamil Cinema, played the leading lady in SRK-starrer 'Jawan', and received enormous praise from critics and audiences alike. The film marked her debut in Hindi cinema, and she was absolutely spot-on! However, according to some reports, she was not the first choice for the part.
Reports suggest that the makers of 'Jawan' first approached Samantha for the role. It was in 2019, and the actress turned the role down as she intended to start a family with her then-husband Naga Chaitanya.
