Summer is Here! Get Your Body Ready In No Time

Use these easy diet and exercise strategies to shed pounds rapidly and reveal your chiseled abs.

Everybody wants to know how to get in shape for the summer and have a beach-ready physique by the time the beaches open on Memorial Day. Many coaches and trainers make it their responsibility to get their clients in top physical condition before important events like competitions, games, and picture sessions. The true objective, though, is to keep them in peak physical condition year-round. Read on to know how you can get in your summer body in no time.

Eat A Lot Of Salad

In the weeks coming up to summer, consider reducing your carb intake by around 25 grams while increasing your protein intake by about 10 grams. This will improve the body's usage of fat as fuel, boost the thermogenic impact of meals, protect muscle, and facilitate weight loss.

Perform Cardio with an Empty Stomach

Although studies have shown mixed results on whether or not fasting improves the fat-burning effects of cardio, we are of the firm belief that this is the optimal time to get the most out of your workout. We have used this method successfully on clients and the hundreds of individuals we have trained for competition.

Take The Corrective Measures

After waking up, the initial thing we do is have roughly 10 grams of BCAAs and a thermal fat burner (or at least 200 milligrams of caffeine). In addition to maximizing the fat-burning benefit of your fasting cardio by increasing your metabolism, doing this will also help you maintain your muscle mass and give you the energy you need to get through your workout.

Cut Up Your Cardio

For example, if you want to get in an hour of cardio every day, you'll get greater benefits if you do it in multiple sessions throughout the day rather than all at once. It's common to do fifteen minutes of cardio first thing in the morning when fasting, an additional fifteen minutes after a workout, and another 15 minutes before dinner. This method will keep your metabolism revved up all day, making you a lean, mean fat-burning machine.

Perform Compound Exercise

Compound exercises, such as crunches, deadlifts, bent rows that are bench presses, and pull-ups, are superior to machines and isolated movements in terms of calorie expenditure and the stimulation of natural hormones that eliminate body fat.

Remove Bread From Your Morning Meal

Our hormone levels are greatest in the morning (and again immediately after exercise). While cortisol is catabolic (meaning it destroys) muscle tissue, it is significantly more catabolic (meaning it causes fat cells to break down) when it rises. The longer you fast from carbohydrates, the greater the influence of cortisol, and the more effective your fasting cardio will be.
