How Indian Billionaires Are Positioned As Jeff Bezos Regains Top Spot On World's Richest Man List

Bloomberg published Billionaires Index yesterday, and we saw a huge turnaround as Jeff Bezos reclaimed the status of the richest person in the world, surpassing Elon Musk. Currently, the Amazon founder has the net worth of around $200 billion, while SpaceX founder Elon Musk has $198 billion. According to the index, Tesla owner has lost approximately $31 billion in 2023, while Jeff Bezos has gained around $23 billion.

But, where do Indian Billionaires stand in that list? A total number of 186 billionaires are named in that list surpassing the figure of last year (169).

In this article, we will discuss about the global position of top ten Indian billionaires based on their current wealth.

Mukesh Ambani:

Unsurprisingly, Mukesh Ambani tops the list with net worth of $117.5 Billion. The Managing Director and Chairman of Reliance Industries holds 9th position globally. With a net worth of $84.8 Billion, he holds 17th postion globally. His group ventures into multiple sectors like ports, airports, power generation and transmission, as well as green energy.
