Alia Bhatt Among TIME’s ‘100 Most Influential People’; Tracing The Actress's Top Achievements So Far

Well, as they say, it's Alia Bhatt's world, and we are just living in it. The actress, who has been in showbiz since 2012, has gone from strength to strength with her performances, winning over the hearts of one and all. And now, she has added yet another feather to her cap by making it to TIME’s prestigious ‘100 Most Influential People of 2024’ list. Names like Dev Patel, Satya Nadella, Sakshi Malik, Ajay Banga, and Asma Khan were also on the list.

Tom Harper, Bhatt's director from 'Heart of Stone', wrote an article on her in the magazine, calling her a 'truly international star' and a 'formidable talent'. He wrote, "There is a grace to the way she goes about her work: focused, open to ideas, and willing to take creative risks. One of my favorite moments in the film came from an improvisation at the end of a take where she took the emotional thread and ran with it."

The National Film Award for Best Actress at the 69th National Film Awards

The Hollywood Debut With 'Heart Of Stone'

After winning over the hearts of Indians, Bhatt went international with her Hollywood debut 'Heart of Stone' in 2023. And she shared the screen space with none other than Gal Gadot. Speaking about her experience of working in the film, she later shared in an interview, "For me, this was a super huge opportunity, my first Hollywood film. And having seen Gal's exceptional work, I knew this project was something special."
