Notably, RRR's catchy track 'Naatu Naatu' is now being celebrated across India, as the song has won the prestigious Academy Award under the 'Best Original Song' category.

RRR's 'Naatu Naatu' created history by becoming the first Indian track to win the Academy Award in the Best Original Song category. The song was nominated alongside 'Applause' from "Tell It Like a Woman", 'Hold My Hand' from "Top Gun: Maverick", 'Lift Me Up' from "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" and 'This Is a Life' from "Everything Everywhere All at Once".

The song comes at a pivotal moment in the film. It was shot at the Mariinskyi Palace (Ukrainian Presidential Palace) in Kyiv in August 2021.
