In a recent announcement, The Moms Co., a direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand focused on mother and baby care, revealed the launch of 'The Mompreneurs Show - The Hunt for India's Top Mom-led Startups'. This exciting initiative aims to empower and mentor aspiring mom micro-entrepreneurs from all corners of India.

The competition promises significant rewards for participants, with the top three winners set to receive financial and marketing grants of up to Rs 1 Cr, generously provided by The Good Glamm Group. This prestigious opportunity will not only grant exposure but also facilitate potential growth for the successful mompreneurs in the personal care industry.

Empowering mompreneurs

The Mompreneurs Show, as per the press release, provides a platform for mothers to promote and expand their businesses. Any mom entrepreneur above 18 years residing in India is eligible to participate, and the series will highlight inspiring journeys of mompreneurs across the country. The initial phase showcases The Moms Co Mompreneurs Legends podcast, featuring success stories of eminent women leaders in India, alongside upcoming and aspiring mompreneurs sharing their distinctive experiences. The event is held in collaboration with FICCI Flo and Aspire for Her.

Prominent entrepreneurs mentor budding mompreneurs

The initiative's advisory board, comprising accomplished entrepreneurs who are also mothers, will play crucial roles as mentors, judges, and investors for aspiring mompreneurs over a 12-week period. The notable members include Manmeet Kaur Nanda (Joint Secretary, DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry), Anjali Bansal (Founder-Partner, Avaana Climate and Sustainability Fund, and Board Member at Tata Power, Nestle, ONDC), Radhika Gupta (MD and CEO, Edelwiess MF, and Vice Chairperson, AMFI), Lizzie Chapman (Co-founder, ZestMoney), and others. Additionally, Suhasini Sampath (Co-founder and CEO, Yogabar), Sairee Chahal (Founder and CEO, Sheroes and Mahila Money), Radhika Ghai (Founder and CEO, kindlife), and more esteemed names will join the advisory board. Malika Sadani, Co-founder of The Moms Co., along with Good Glamm Group's co-founders and senior leadership who are mothers, including Priyanka Gill, Naiyya Saggi, Sukhleen Aneja, and Disha Sanghvi, will also contribute as part of the board and jury.
