Strangest dog breeds on the planet that you never know
Dog, the source of your happiness and the consolation for our tired hearts.
Nowadays, we, modern humans, are becoming very much dependent on our pets like dogs and cats when it comes to our happiness. That’s the reason dog ownership around the world is rapidly growing. But mostly in all countries, we are habituated to observing almost the same breeds, which are the American ones. That’s why if you want to go on a different track in terms of choosing your breed, we have a list for you. These dogs are not only unique in their appearance but also extremely rare as they get the least attention from the Western media, including news and films.
Xoloitzcuintle, the name is weirder than appearance
Xoloitzcuintle, or simply Xolo is the first one in this list of weirdo. It’s too weird, right? How will you pronounce it? Well, this breed has another comparatively simple name which is Mexican hairless. That’s because it doesn’t have any hair. These dogs have a long history and at some point of time, they were said to be sacred. Their hairless body is the only responsible factor for their uniqueness. Not only this, but they also have almond eyes and a super sleek body.
Bedlington Terrier, less a dog and more a lamb
As the title suggests that at first glance you may be confused to think that you are looking at a lamb. Bedlington is a very sweet and friendly breed and it loves to be with family. Their triangular ears and curly coats make them the cutest. They are so docile that it’s hard to believe that they used to be fighters. They have shorter fur on the rest of the body except legs and head and the reason behind this is that they used to be hunters. Undoubtedly this feature makes them the strangest breed on the planet.
Puli, a breed with dreadlocks
Puli is probably the best known among the strangest ones. These dreadlocks are called cords which start appearing at the age of 9 months. It will need a lot of maintenance if you choose them as your pet. Their cords need to be maintained and detangled regularly. Though they seem heavy, in reality they are extremely lightweight.
Lastly, the more you take care of them, the better they survive. Treat them not as pets but as family.
