Actor Liam Neeson is world-famous for his effortless and captivating portrayals on-screen. From essaying a romantic role to a revenge-hungry father, Neeson’s portrayals are perfection. The actor’s smooth and experienced transition from theatre to big screen gave the audience some impeccable performances on screen. As he went to slay the big screen with his performances, Neeson’s breakthrough came with the holocaust historical drama film Schindler’s List and much later with the portrayal of a father in the action thriller series Taken, running to save his daughter. The Commuter

This 2018 action thriller film stars Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Jonathan Banks, and Sam Neill, besides Liam Neeson. The story of the film follows Michael MacCauley, played by Liam Neeson, who is an NYPD officer turned insurance agent. It begins by showing MacCauley, who takes the same daily train commute on the Hudson Line from Tarrytown to Grand Central Terminal. After having been abruptly laid off from his job, one day on his commute, MacCauley meets a mysterious married woman.


This 1990 superhero film directed and co-written by Sam Raimi is based on a short story Raimi wrote paying homage to Universal’s horror films of the 1930s. And Liam Neeson is seen portraying the role of scientist Peyton Westlake, who is brutally attacked and left for dead by mobster Robert Durant, essayed by Larry Drake. And even after the treatments to cure the burn injuries fails, Westlake develops super-human abilities. This is Neeson’s first action film in the main role.

Under Suspicion

This 1991 neo-noir erotic thriller film stars Liam Neeson and Laura San Giacomo in pivotal roles. The plot of the film is set in the late 1950s depicting and showing how when the strict British divorce laws could be circumvented by manufacturing fake evidence of adultery. And the story of the film shows the life journey of a town in Brighton, where such activities often occur. It narrates the story of an amoral private detective, who, with the help of his wife, provides phoney photographs and paid witnesses for divorce cases. But later becomes a prime suspect when his wife and a wealthy artist client are murdered.
