Story

In a recent tweet, Snoop Dogg shared a regal portrait of himself as Dobby the Elf from the Harry Porter film series. The half-rapper, half-elf hybrid, named Snoop Dobby Dobb, even received the attention and approval of the author and franchise creator JK Rowling.

The bizarre fan art portrait of the American rapper as Dobby the House Elf has gone viral online.  It shows Snoop Dogg as Dobby sporting a red and green-colored outfit, a more diminutive stature, and elf-like ears.

This portrait captured the rapper’s attention immediately, and he positively responded to it. Re-posting the picture on his Twitter handle, Snoop Dogg captioned it “SnoopDobbyDobb”, a reference to his previous stage name Snoop Doggy Dogg.

The tweet even caught the eye of JK Rowling, who authored the much-loved series of seven Harry Potter novels. She re-tweeted Snoop Dogg's tweet with a heart and laughing emoticon.

The Rapper’s Upcoming Project

Snoop announced earlier this month that a biopic about his life and career is in the works at Universal Pictures. The rapper will produce the project, which will be penned by Black Panther writer Joe Robert Cole and directed by Menace II Society co-helmer Allen Hughes. The film will incorporate music from Snoop's vast catalog.
