Snacks That Made the 90s Childhood Extra Special

Don't we agree, the '90s kids have the sweetest childhood memories of all time?

We saw the time before and after the modernization of this world. When we sit alone in the cacophony of city life, we often get lost in the memories of those simpler days. We enjoyed every little thing in life- from collecting the hailstones to leaving for adventure with Dora.

During those days, we never discussed pizza toppings or pasta sauces. We had more crucial decisions to make. Standing in a store, we were allowed to pick only one snack item from several options. It might sound amusing, but look at the list of snack items we used to have.

Chocki

It was and continues to be one of the favorite snacks from the childhood days of the children in the 90s. This product was probably the first chocolate spread we knew back then. I still remember having it every day after school. It had no different flavors, but we would urge taking the particular-colored pack from the jar.

Packet Chuski

No doubt that today we are loaded with fancy ice-cream flavors, but if you ask any 90s kid, packet chuski is a nostalgia. After school rang its final bells, we used to rush towards the vendor selling different flavors of chuski beside the school gate. That mere one- or two-rupee packet holds memories more than a cup of ice cream.

Flavored lollipops

Do you remember having colorful tongues? Yes, you are reading it right. Imagine holding a candy stick and immersing in its flavor. Sounds fruity, right? Most of us played the game where we checked our colored tongues after having those colorful-flavored candy lollipops. It was tasty and the favorite of most '90s kids.

Diptrix

In the world of cheese and mayo dips, flavor dips are a sentiment for all of us. Diptrix was a favorite evening snack for most of us as it came in a fancy pack that included yummy cookie sticks with flavored dips. Sometimes there were goodies for us too.

Childhood memories never end, including the list of our favorite snacks. Some of them are discontinued in the market, but some are on my shopping list.
