  1. Salt water: Gargling with salt water is the easiest remedy to treat sore throat. Mix 1 tablespoon of salt into 1 glass of warm water and gargle with the solution at least thrice a day.
  2. Lemon: Lemon is a rich source of vitamin C and other antioxidant components which fight against inflammation and reduce oxidative stress in your throat. It also breaks down harmful mucus and boosts your immune system, which finally prevent sore throat. Mix 2 tablespoons of lemon juice into a cup of warm water and drink it.
