Parineeti Chopra-Raghav Chadha engagement: From Bollywood theme to lavish venue, all you need to know

Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha's engagement is all set to take place on May 13.

Actress Parineeti Chopra and AAP MP Raghav Chadha have been busy painting the town red with their out and about outing in both Delhi and Mumbai. With their wedding news surfaced on social media, fans have been waiting for more details of their impending engagement.

While most of us are not aware of the details about the big day, we have got our hands on some information about Parineeti-Raghav’s engagement. Their engagement is all set to take place on May 13, and the intimate function will take place at Kapurthala House in New Delhi.

As per a report in India Today, the event will have a Bollywood-theme and several celebs from the Indian film fraternity would be seen attending the ceremony.

It is said that Parineeti would be wearing an exquisite ensemble by Manish Malhotra, while Raghav would don an achkan designed by his maternal uncle Pawan Sachdeva, especially for him. He has also designed an ivory achkan in pure khadi silk along with ivory pants and a matching kurta for Raghav.

Reportedly, the low-key engagement ceremony will kick-start at 5 in the evening. The day, however, would be started with a Sukhmani Sahib Path followed by Ardas, a Sikh ritual. Keeping the ceremony is only for closed ones, the guest list includes 150 people including friends and family. However, Parineeti’s sister Priyanka Chopra, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann are all set to mark their attendance.

Parineeti and Raghav were even clicked at the Mumbai airport as they made their way towards the capital. On Thursday, Parineeti’s Mumbai home was lit up ahead of their engagement, and on Saturday, Priyanka Chopra landed in Delhi for her cousin’s engagement. What more confirmation is needed, right?

On the work front, Parineeti made her debut with ‘Ladies vs. Ricky Bahl’ in 2011. She was last seen in filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya's ‘Uunchai’, and has films like ‘Chamkila’ and ‘Capsule Gill’ lined up for release this year. Raghav, on the other hand, is a Member of Parliament.
