After launching the NS200 with USD forks in Brazil, Bajaj is now gearing up to launch the same in India.
The OG Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is back, but this time, it is not just a mere cosmetic update with stickers and new colours. This time, the OG NS200 is offering something better. For the record, a few days ago, Bajaj shared via its social media platform the teaser video of the upcoming Pulsar NS200.
Now, several media outlets have confirmed that the upcoming NS200 has already reached dealerships, which means the launch date is only a few days away. So, what’s new about the upcoming NS200?
When the model was launched with USD forks in Brazil, the Indian motorcycle community blasted Bajaj for ignoring them. It seems Bajaj has heard the cries. Another big change the motorcycle will feature is a dual-channel ABS system.
The NS was launched with a single-channel ABS a few years ago. However, riders still wished for a dual-channel ABS to have a safer ride experience. We firmly believe that the dual-channel ABS will be an optional model sold alongside the single-channel ABS variant.
Another minor feature that the motorcycle is likely to feature is the OBD2 system, which will become mandatory on April 1, 2023.
The NS will also use the same old semi-digital instrument cluster and design language, along with traditional bulb-type headlight and turn indicators.
As of now, the price tag of the present model is INR 1.41 lakh ex-showroom, but expect the upcoming model to have a price tag of around INR 1.55 lakh ex-showroom.
