Aguero on his son

Earlier, when Benjamin had joined the club, his father Aguero had said, "Benjamin went to Tigre because his best friend is going. He went to try out last week and he wrote to me and tells me: 'Pa, I stayed. I called him there, congratulated him and told him: 'Look, you have all this year to get your act together and then see if you really like it. He had a good time, he enjoyed the two practices, but we don't know if he is going to keep going," as quoted by the Goal.com

About Maradona and Aguero's careers

Diego Armando Maradona, often considered the best to ever grace football, won Argentina the World Cup in 1986. He also won the golden ball in the tournament. However, in 1990, he was expelled for drug abuse.

Meanwhile, Sergio Aguero was part of the Argentine team that reached the 2014 World Cup finals. He is also known as a Manchester City legend for being the club's top scorer in all competitions

Sergio Aguero retired earlier due to a heart condition that prevented him from playing football at the highest level.
