In addition to directing, Depp will assume the role of co-producer alongside the talented Al Pacino and Barry Navidi.
The upcoming project, set to be showcased to potential buyers at the Cannes Film Festival, has successfully assembled an impressive cast. In his quest for guidance, Modigliani turns to his trusted confidant and art dealer, Leopold Zborowski. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Paris in 1916, the film endeavors to depict the captivating journey of the renowned painter and sculptor. Emphasizing the significance of a tumultuous 48-hour period, the narrative illuminates the pivotal turning point that solidified Modigliani’s status as an artistic legend.
