A recent photo shared by Taylor Swift this week featured a silhouette of a woman in a pantsuit, something that the Vice president and Democratic nominee for the Presidential Election 2024 Kamala Harris might wear. This photo led the fans to speculate that the superstar has dropped yet another “Easter Egg”, showing her secret endorsement for Harris.
Taylor Swift took to Instagram to post a carousel of ten pictures, and one of them featured a lady in a pantsuit similar to what Kamala Harris wears. These pictures were taken at Swift’s Era’s Tour Concert held in Warsaw, Poland. In the background, we can see a woman in a panstuit waving at the audience as she walks off the stage. Many fans speculated that the woman in the pantsuit resembles Harris, thus interpreting Swift’s endorsement for the VP. However, this is not the truth. The woman is one of Taylor Swift’s background singers who wore a pantsuit during that particular set. If you have a closer look at the other photos from the concert, you can spot many background performers who donned a pantsuit.
Furthermore, the woman in the picture is seen wearing boots, which is contrary to what Harris wears. Although, at times, Harris has been spotted wearing boots, she is mostly seen in pumps or sneakers.
Need additional proof against the endorsement theory? Then here it is- the post’s caption didn’t hint at anything political. The caption read: “Oh I loved those Warsaw shows SO much!!! Our first time ever playing in Poland, but it won’t be the last. I seriously had the best time 😆 Also want to thank those beautiful crowds for making us the first tour to play 3 nights in a row in your stadium!!”
Nonetheless, many Harris supporters believed that they had spotted a clue. The group ‘Call to Activism’ posted on X (formerly Twitter): “Taylor Swift just low-key endorsed Kamala Harris and MAGA is losing their minds.”
Political analysts, supporters, media personalities, and possibly the Harris campaign, are closely monitoring for any sign of support by Taylor Swift, eager to learn if, or when the endorsement might come. Swift, being one of the most famous and influential superstars globally, can have a significant impact on her massive fan following with her Harris endorsement.
Quite interestingly, a group of fans called “Swifties for Kamala” has already been formed without the singer’s participation. The members of the group have created signature friendship bracelets to show support for Harris. The group has also loudly endorsed Harris on social media.
Although a comment from Taylor Swift on Kamala Harris or Donald Trump for this year’s presidential election is still awaiting, she has previously voiced her support for Joe Biden and Harris during their 2020 presidential campaign.
Speaking about her endorsement in 2020, Swift told V magazine, “The change we need most is to elect a president who recognizes that people of colour deserve to feel safe and represented, that women deserve the right to choose what happens to their bodies, and that the LGBTQIA+ community deserves to be acknowledged and included. As the Super Bowl approached, some Republicans and right-wing media surmised that Swift might be involved in a rumoured conspiracy engineered by the Democratic Party and the NFL to secure the 2024 Presidential Election for Biden.

In Ramin Setoodeh’s nook ‘Apprentice in Wonderland’, the former president told the author, “I think she’s beautiful — very beautiful! I find her very beautiful. I think she’s liberal. She probably doesn’t like Trump.” “I hear she’s very talented. I think she’s very beautiful, actually — unusually beautiful!”, Trump added.
