He scored 75 runs off 51 balls, featuring seven boundaries and three sixes, in partnership with AB de Villiers, guiding RCB to a formidable total of 227/4. Despite SRH's efforts, managing only 182/6 in response, RCB claimed a 45-run victory. During the 2015 IPL season, RCB faced SRH in a crucial match with their playoff hopes at stake. Rain interruptions shortened the game to 11 overs. Chasing 135, RCB needed 81 from 6 overs after another delay. Kohli and Gayle started strong, but quick dismissals left Kohli to lead alone. His unbeaten 44 off 19 balls, including three sixes and three boundaries, led RCB to a thrilling win with one ball left, showcasing his chasing skills.
