The 13th match for the 2023 season at the Narendra Modi Stadium was a humdinger, showcasing the stadium's penchant for high scores. Chasing a daunting target of 205 set by the Gujarat Titans, the Kolkata Knight Riders found themselves in a precarious position after losing their top order. However, the swashbuckling duo of Venkatesh Iyer (83) and Nitish Rana (45) stitched together a magnificent century partnership, reviving their hopes.

Just when it seemed like the chase was slipping away, a young hero emerged in the form of Rinku Singh. With KKR needing a staggering 39 runs off the last eight balls, Rinku unleashed a brutal assault, smashing sixes off the final five deliveries of the 19th over and the first four balls of the 20th over to seal a remarkable victory.

The 2023 IPL Qualifier 2 witnessed a dominant display of batting by the Gujarat Titans. Openers Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill laid the foundation with a mammoth 142-run partnership, the highest for the Titans at that time.

However, the brilliance of Ravindra Jadeja in the final two overs, where he needed 10 runs to win off two balls, sealed a dramatic victory for CSK. 

#1: Gill's Masterclass propels Titans to the final (233/3 by GT)

The top spot for the highest score at the Narendra Modi Stadium belongs to the Gujarat Titans, who piled up a staggering 233/3 against the Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 1 of the 2023 IPL. Opener Shubman Gill, in the form of his life, stole the show with a breathtaking knock of 129 off just 60 balls.
