A Film By S. Shankar

When it's an S. Shankar directorial, there's no way you are not buzzing with excitement. One of India's most successful filmmakers (both critically and commercially), Shankar makes films that deal with contemporary social issues, and yet are high on entertainment. And he has a track record of pathbreaking films, such as 'Indian', 'Anniyan', 'Sivaji', 'Enthiran', and '2.0'.

Story By Karthik Subbaraj

Now this is something that comes out of the syllabus. Karthik Subbaraj (who is known for his directorial ventures like 'Pizza', 'Jigarthanda', 'Petta', 'JagameThandhiram', 'Jigarthanda DoubleX', etc.) has written the story of 'Game Changer'. This is the first time he has penned a story to be directed by someone else. As he shared in one of his recent interviews, "As a filmmaker, I felt honored when Shankar sir asked if I have any stories he can direct. I had this story that I knew I couldn’t direct but knew he’d be the perfect fit.”

Notably, the story of 'Game Changer' follows an "IAS officer who strives to combat corrupt politicians by advocating for fair elections to transform the way government works".

The script has been co-written by Karthik Subbaraj and Shankar.

Ram Charan And Kiara's Chemistry

Ram Charan and Kiara Advani share a striking on-screen chemistry, and it was evident in their first film together, 'Vinaya Vidheya Rama (2019). While the film couldn't make a mark, their chemistry was praised by critics and audiences alike. They are coming back as a pair in 'Game Changer', and you know what it means!
