Diljit Dosanjh performed for over 50,000 fans in Vancouver and his act has some special moments, including his Bhangra with a young fan.

Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh scripted history on April 27 when he performed the "largest ever Punjabi show outside India" as he kicked off the North American leg of his ‘Dil-Luminati Tour’. The entire stadium was sold out as fans thronged to see the singer perform at the BC Place stadium in Vancouver, Canada. Dosanjh entertained the audience of over 54,000 concert-goers and sang his popular songs like "GOAT," “5 Taara," “Lover," “Kinni Kinni," and “Ishq Mitaye," from his recent film ‘Amar Singh Chamkila.’

The performance had some heartfelt moments, including when Diljit called a six-year-old fan on stage and matched steps on Bhangra during the concert. The young fan, named Aanakh Bhullar, said about the act, “I like his dancing moves. I love him, he is the best singer,” as reported by CBC News. Check out the video:

In the video from the concert, Dosanjh is also seen hugging and kissing his young fans on the cheek as the song wrapped up. Interestingly, the boy was dressed similar to Diljit.

Meanwhile, as the show ended,  the general manager of BC Place presented a congratulatory plaque to Diljit Dosanjh, and called it the "largest ever Punjabi show outside India." According to Canadian media, the ‘Dil-Luminati Tour’ and the Vancouver concert was the first time a Punjabi music artist headlined a concert at the Vancouver-based arena.

Diljit has also been sharing snippets of his performance, including video and photos, on social media. He captioned the post as, “HISTORY HAS BEEN WRITTEN ✍️ BC PLACE STADIUM 🏟️ SOLD OUT 😎DIL-LUMINATI TOUR.”

Dosanjh also posted on his Instagram Stories and showed a massive billboard of his show with “Sold Out" written across it.

As part of his tour, Diljit, after Vancouver, will now travel to Calgary, Winnipeg, and Edmonton in Canada. He will then head to the United States, and finally wrap up the North American leg of his tour in Toronto on July 13.
