Can A Green Environment Be Achieved Devoid Of Any Pollutants

A talk about the possibilities.

Pollution is a very old problem and it is already a prime topic of discussion in every sector, worldwide. Controversy over pollution, response to litigation, and efforts to prevent pollution are all long-standing events. But, where does it end? Does it have any end at all? Is it possible to restore nature to its healthy state? Or will human civilization have to find a way to survive in such a poisonous world?

About Pollution

From the primitive era of capitalism, throughout the progress of machineries and mechanisms, the amount of environmental pollution has gradually increased. Soil pollution, water pollution from large industrial wastes, air pollution from factory and vehicle emissions - these are long-standing issues. Fossil fuels are almost most of the fuels that are being used to generate energy in power hubs or other industries. The use of coal, petroleum fuels, wood, etc. produces a large amount of carbon pollutants which have been polluting the environment for a long time.

New threats

But, lately, with the advancement of mechanical civilization, we have come across some systems which have given a unique level to environmental pollution.

In the modern age, refrigerators, ACs, and a large number of sophisticated personal motor vehicles emit carbonated pollutants like CFC, Mithen, Carbon Monoxide, Carbon DiOxide, Benzene-di-ol etc. In addition, the proliferation of petroleum products, plastics, minerals and nuclear waste, etc., has become a major challenge to environmental well-being.

How pollutants can be reduced

Most of the pollutants that are responsible for pollution are carbonaceous. In any system where carbonaceous fuels such as coal or petrochemical fuels, mineral gases, etc. are used as sources of energy, horrible pollutants like carbon are inevitably present as waste. So to get rid of it, we have to stop using carbon fuel. Or at least do as little as possible. At the same time the use of converters or other air filters should be increased. Extensive use of recyclable sources and solar energy for energy production could lead to a solution in this regard. Besides, plastic products should be controlled and plastic wastes should be under complete surveillance to ensure as much as less pollution.

Industrial wastages should be recycled and reused and shouldn’t get into the natural water bodies.

Whether it is really possible

It is possible if the power holders of the world wand to do proper implementation necessary to remove pollutants. In that case it will also take a long time. But, it is better than never. So, unanimously, all people should demand for and work together to achieve a pollutant free green environment in future, at least for our next generations.
