Operation Ajay’s first flight successful

Given that the Israel-Hamas war is going on full-scale, India had to initiate an evacuation mission for Indians living in Israel. Codenamed Operation Ajay, the first of many Israel-to-India flights, arrived early in Delhi on Friday. The flight brought back 212 Indian nationals.

Reacting to the success, Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar said, “Our government will never leave any Indian behind. Ex-Andhra CM gets anticipatory bail

The Andhra Pradesh (AP) High Court has granted anticipatory bail to Andhra Pradesh’s ex-chief minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, in the Angallu case. For the record, the AP police have cases registered against the TDP chief, who is accused of formulating attacks against local leaders of the ruling YRCP. There's also an attempt-to-murder case registered against Naidu.

On October 12, present CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy attacked Naidu verbally by stating, “Chandrababu, his son Lokesh, Dattaputru, Ramoji Rao, Radhakrishna, and Naidu, who are partners in this gangster gang, none of them are in our state. Andhra state, why do they want these people, they want to loot here and share in Hyderabad there.”

Delhi High Court dismisses NewsClick founder’s plea

On Friday, the Delhi High Court dismissed the pleas of NewsClick founder Prabir Purkayastha and the company’s HR head, Amit Chakravarty. The duo had challenged that when they were arrested, they were told of the reason behind the arrest, and also, their lawyers were not present when the trial court ordered their remand. However, given that the case lodged against the said individuals falls under the anti-terror law UAPA, the Delhi High Court did not wish to interfere with the matter and rejected the plea.

In a statement, the court said, “After examining the entire issue in the right perspective, it appears as of now that the grounds of arrest were indeed conveyed to the petitioner, as soon as may be, after the arrest and as such, there does not appear to be any procedural infirmity or violation of the provisions of the Section 43B of the UAPA or the Article 22(1) of the Constitution of India and as such, the arrest are in accordance with law.”

The movie takes the viewers through the story of Manekshaw during the 1971 Indo-Pak war, which led to the creation of Bangladesh. The teaser was released merely hours ago but has received tonnes of appreciation.

However, Inter Miami has squashed the rumours by media agency Reuter, which quoted Spanish journalist Guillem Balague, saying, “Messi will have around one month holiday, like other footballers. So forget any move to Saudi or similar.”
