Why are foot balms necessary?

Make your feet happy, radiant and shiny

After our skin that bears the brunt of our entire days of work, it is our feet that carries our weight throughout the day looking tired. Though our feet are not that commonly exposed and remain the most neglected part of our body, they require the exact same care just as our hands. And since feet are hardly exposed usually wrapped throughout the day in socks and shoes, they are mostly wrapped depriving of the necessary air and moisture.

But there are times, during peak summer, when we would want to move around flaunting our feet in flip-flops and sandals all through the season. So while you might wash them regularly, they need extra care and regular applying of foot cream every night is not the solution, but one of them.

However, first, begin by thoroughly exfoliating and cleaning your feet, either in the morning or at least twice-thrice a week. Doing so will first remove the dead skin and dirt from the feet. After that, pat dry your feet off the water and then moisturize them as it helps rejuvenate the skin.

Hydrate and prevent dryness Since our feet are in closed footwear all day or even worse, exposed to the dust, pollution, and sun rays throughout the day, it makes it all the more necessary to clean and hydrate them. Usually, under these circumstances, the heels lose moisture leading to dryness and chapped heels. Hence making the use of a foot care cream inescapable, especially the heel area to ease the harden skin that has caused due to carrying all the load and loss of skin moisture. Ensure that the lost moisture is regained.

Prevents infections More often than not keeping feet in a closed environment, with no air or moisture it causes calluses – a form of a hard, thick patch of skin caused due to injury, pressure, friction, ill-fitting shoes, or sweaty feet. So by washing our feet, moisturizing them, and letting them be in open-air regularly, we can prevent the occurrence of calluses and other infections.

Removes dead skin Just like our hands and face, our feet develop dead skin. By cleaning and exfoliating them every alternate day and moisturizing them regularly the formation of dead skin is less giving feet a natural shine. Make it a habit to moisturize your feet before going to bed.

Using foot cream will leave your feet's skin feeling silky smooth and soft making them look more attractive. At the same time massaging the feet when you have blisters can help soothe the pain and discomfort.
