Discontinued in India, the Aprilia RSV4 is available in many countries. Several iterations of the motorcycle have been launched, but one of them stood out. That particular RSV4 did the 0-100 kilometre per hour run in merely 2.9 seconds, making it one of the quickest accelerating street-legal motorcycles on the planet. When it was available in India, it had a price tag of INR 24 lakh.

This motorcycle is a surprise package because we never expected an adventure motorcycle to achieve the mammoth task. After all, it is not a sports motorcycle. Expected to hit the Indian shores in 2022 at INR 13 lakh, the KTM 1190 Adventure in the correct hands can hit a 0-100 mark in 2.9 seconds. Not to forget, it can take a rider to almost any unexplored terrain.
Yamaha FZ1 from 2001
We added this motorcycle in our article because of only one reason: the year of production. Several FZ1 iterations have been launched by the Japanese manufacturer but the first-gen FZ1 from 2001 that could hit the 100 kilometres per hour mark in 2.7 seconds is still an impressive feat. To be honest, several motorcycles from the present era will never come close to the long-gone 2001 FZ1.
