Three Ways to Travel in Time

Well, if we go by the books, ‘Travelling in Time’ is totally possible. I mean time travel hypothesis has not only been the centre of attention for science fiction novels and TV series but it has also invited speculations from a range of theoretical physicists. According to physics, it is absolutely possible, but how probable is it to use the technology in near future? That’s surely a question to ask. Keeping up with the tech updates is   what we will have to resort to for now. Also, looking at our sci-fi watch-lists and playlists could help us inch forward towards that futuristic world where going back to your future is not just a cool flick but a reality. How do we escape our present and visit people and places beyond this period of time that we exist in, and explore a distant future? How cool would it be if we could fast forward our time and visit a period where we can see what would become of the humankind after we have dealt with the impending climate crisis? There are ways of course. First let’s talk about how to visit a futuristic time? Let’s Enter Stasis This means practically hitting a ‘pause’ button on our present and wait for the future to come visit us, all the way, while not aging a bit. Weird, right? How to do it? There are two ways, both equally cool. Suspended animation: With this with advance science we slow our heart rate and body temperature, even replace the blood. Then you get re-animated with replaced blood and body temperature being back to normal. It has already been done to dogs and pigs! Cryogenics: Now here is a brain-freezing moment. It literally means that. Keeping your brain in ice for centuries and then putting it into a fresh new body (cloning can come handy here). Another way to travel to our future would be to travel as fast as the speed of light. According to special relativity if we indeed are in a spaceship that travels as fast as light the time will slow down and people inside the spaceship will not experience time as people outside, thus they won’t age. Go for Time Dialation. You could orbit a black hole which will make you experience gravitational time dilation and thus you will not age, like your friends back on earth. This is because space-time around the black hole is warped. Well, if you are some kind of billionaire, you are free to choose from the above options. Go ahead, go get the future happening.
