Closure of Disneyland days after reopening

For those caught unaware, the latest closure of Shanghai Disneyland comes just days after it reopened on November 25. It was temporarily suspended on October 31 due to Covid-19 control needs. The Disneytown, Wishing Star Park and theme hotels were reopened on November 17.

When Shanghai Disneyland reopened, it was done under controlled capacity. Some sites, performances, canteens and shops were still temporarily closed or run with reduced capacity, as Xinhua news agency reported.

All visitors were expected to follow Covid-19 control measures, including presenting their green Shanghai health QR codes, getting their temperatures checked, wearing masks and keeping a safe distance. They were also required to present negative nucleic acid test results falling within the previous 48 hours.

Now as per the reopening of Disneyland again, visitors can check all the information on the official app of the Shanghai Disney Resort.

Meanwhile, China follows a strict Covid-19 policy due to the rising cases in the country.
