We all have got inspired by movie characters at least once in our lifetime. Whether it’s because of their personality, sense of humour or simply just the way they look and their sense of style. Style and sense of fashion is something that draws everyone’s eyes, whether it’s bad or good. That is why a movie with all the glitz and glamour is something all of us love to watch. But all we generally see in those movies are glamorous, fashionable, charming things, elegant dresses, good makeup, great hair. But fashion is not all roses and glam, there are difficult times too, which many movies didn’t show. But this list comprises the name of the movies which have shown both the sides of this industry and made an honest representation. So here are those movies which speak fashion to you: The Devil Wears Prada Starring some of the finest actresses of the industries, David Frankel’s The Devil Wears Prada is probably the most appreciated fashion mainstream movie.  The film is hilarious, smart and total eye candy for any fashion fan. Andy’s Chanel looks and Miranda Priestly’s collection of crazy coats and bags still inspire many women. The film was considered to be a cult in its time. The Dressmaker Directed by Jocelyn Moorhouse, starring Kate Winslet and Liam Hemsworth, The Dressmaker, as the name tells, is a story about a fashion designer. Adaptation of author Rosalie Ham’s much-loved debut novel of the same name is a story of revenge, love and passion. Though the film didn’t do much good at the box office, it has surely educated people about fashion and style. Phantom Thread A tale of passion and romance and toxic masculinity, Phantom Thread deals with fashion in a unique way. It is a story about a celebrated dress designer who falls for a waitress named  Alma, who later becomes his muse and lover, And his meticulous lifestyle undergoes a drastic change. Yves Saint laurent and Saint Laurent Both of these movies, ‘Yves Saint Laurent’ and ‘Saint Laurent’ are biopic based on the famous fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent. The film portrays how the icon rose from the house of Dior to start his own massively successful line and began a passionate, long-lasting relationship with his partner Pierre Bergé. It beautifully showed the struggle and passion behind the craft and showed how this 21-year-old boy took over as head designer of the House of Dior in 1957. The movie is both inspirational and engaging and tells a lot about the fashion industry. Coco Before Chanel Coco Before Chanel or Coco Avant Chanel (French), is a biopic on one of the iconic figures in the fashion industry Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel a.k.a Coco Chanel. It beautifully shows the journey of a seamstress cum cabaret entertainer, becoming the most famous designer in the world. The film shows how the young Coco Chanel noticed style everywhere and transformed it into a piece of art and how she fought against the French morals and couture.
