Growing up in a family heavily reliant on farming, Nil faced challenges. However, he secured a 75% scholarship. "My parents made significant sacrifices to support my education," he revealed. "Even when I underperformed in tests, they encouraged me to persevere and improve," he reflected. Their unwavering support fueled his determination.
When it comes to mastering the JEE Mains and achieving top scores, Nilkrishna emphasizes the importance of diligence and persistence until complete understanding is attained. He believes that curiosity and inquisitiveness are fundamental qualities of a successful student. Asking questions without hesitation is crucial, as clarity on every topic is paramount.
In terms of study strategy, Nil relies on his class notes for Physics and Physical Chemistry. For inorganic and organic chemistry, he combines notes with extensive practice. Mathematics, on the other hand, requires dedicated practice sessions. Nil dedicates 10 to 15 hours daily to self-study, focusing on preparing for the JEE Main.
Beyond academics, Nilkrishna is also deeply involved in archery, competing at state and national levels. He finds parallels between archery and goal-setting, emphasizing the importance of focused attention. For leisure, Nil indulges in watching movies, particularly enjoying South Indian cinema. Whether after exams or weekly, catching a movie is a cherished pastime.
Looking ahead, Nilkrishna harbors ambitions in physics research. Currently, his primary focus is on cracking the JEE Advanced to secure admission in Computer Science Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
