Hawa Mahal: Another iconic monument in the Jaipur city, Hawa Mahal or 'Palace of the Winds' is a five-storey building that was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. It has 953 windows (known as jharokhas) that allow the cool breeze to pass inside the palace. The construction of the building is unique and the top floor balconies offer you a spectacular view of the whole city. Jantar Mantar: Your trip to Rajasthan is incomplete if you don't visit this interesting observatory called Jantar Mantar. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh II, this is one of the oldest and largest observatories in the world. It has some devices and gadgets that can measure time, observe constellation, predict eclipses etc. Also, the whole architecture is quite unique and interesting. Albert Hall Museum: A must-visit place for any architecture enthusiastic and art lover, Albert Hall Museum is a classic example of Indo-Saracenic architecture. It's one of the oldest museums in India and the whole construction was completed in 1887. With a wide collection of artifacts, paintings, stones, carpets, jewellery, metals and an Egyptian mummy, this museum provides its visitors an excellent opportunity to learn a lot about history, art and culture. Nahargarh Fort: Located in the laps of Aravalli Hills, Nahargarh Fort is an amazing fort that offers you a breathtaking view of the Jaipur city. During the night, the view of the surrounding places from its top floors is truly spectacular. It is a popular picnic spot and the major highlights include the twelve queen boudoirs, Wax Museum etc. It is believed that the royal families used to visit this fort as their summer trips.
