Virat Kohli (RCB) – 741 runs, the run machine strikes again

If there is one constant in the IPL, it is Virat Kohli's ability to score runs. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru legend was at his best in the IPL 2024, winning the Orange Cap with 741 runs in 15 innings. His consistency was incredible, with an average of 61.75 and a remarkable strike rate of 154.69.

Kohli's stunning unbeaten 113 against Rajasthan Royals was one of the season's highlights, showcasing both beauty and ferocity. In the 2024 edition, he dispatched the ball to the boundary 62 times and cleared the ropes 38 times, demonstrating that age poses no barrier to his desire to run.

Ruturaj Gaikwad (CSK) – 583 runs, the anchor of CSK

The Chennai Super Kings may not have reached the playoffs, but it’s skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad shone brightly during a challenging season. With 583 runs in 14 innings and an impressive average of 53.00, he emerged as CSK's most reliable batter.

Gaikwad's exquisite stroke play was a joy to behold. Last season, he struck 58 fours and 18 sixes, with a highest score of 108. Whether the team required a steady anchor or someone to accelerate the scoring, Gaikwad consistently rose to the occasion, establishing himself as a pivotal player for CSK.

Riyan Parag (RR) – 573 runs, the surprise package

Each IPL season, some exceptional talents emerge, and in 2024, that player was none other than Riyan Parag. The Rajasthan Royals batter dazzled fans with an impressive 573 runs in 14 innings, boasting an average of 52.09 and a remarkable strike rate of 149.21.

Although he did not score a century, his four fifties and ability to finish games solidified his status as one of the season's most influential performers. His bold style of play, underscored by 40 fours and 33 sixes throughout the season, established him as a crucial member of the RR squad.

Travis Head (SRH) – 567 runs, the power-hitter

Travis Head was a revelation for Sunrisers Hyderabad, exhibiting powerful batting at the top of the order. He scored 567 runs in 15 innings, showcasing some of the most devastating performances of the season. With a strike rate of 191.55, he not only scored runs; he did so at an exhilarating pace.

His top score of 102 against RCB was a blistering knock that demolished the opposition's bowling attack. In the 2024 edition, he struck 64 fours and 32 sixes, leaving bowlers anxious before facing him.

Sanju Samson (RR) – 531 runs, leading from the front

Sanju Samson has once again demonstrated why he is the driving force behind the Rajasthan Royals. The RR skipper has set an excellent example with a remarkable 531 runs in just 15 innings and an impressive batting average of 48.27. His exceptional strike rate of 153.46 showcases his ability to balance aggressive play with tactical prudence.

Although he did not score a century this season, his five fifties and a remarkable total of 48 fours and 24 sixes kept the Royals in contention throughout the season.
