1 Steve jobs was adopted

Even though Jobs is known throughout the world. He was private about his personal life. He was adopted and his biological father was a Syrian immigrant.

2 He was a college dropout

The pressure to earn a college degree is immense in this day and age. But for Steve Jobs, dropping out of college did not hinder him from achieving success. Jobs decided not to continue his education at Reed College after just six months because of financial issues. However, it is reported that a calligraphy class he took at the college was the inspiration behind the typography used in Mac computers.

3 Reason Steve jobs started wearing his signature style

Most of the pictures you will find of Steve Jobs show him wearing his signature style - a black turtleneck paired with jeans and sneakers. He especially liked the turtlenecks designed by Issey Miyake, a Japanese designer. It was a visit to the Tokyo headquarters of Sony in the 80s that inspired this look. He liked the uniforms worn, which had a minimalist vibe. He reportedly commissioned Miyake to design uniforms for his company Apple. However, his employees were not sold on the idea. He had over 100 of these turtlenecks during his life.

4 Steve jobs wasn't as tech savvy as one might think
