Thai basil is touted as a "miracle herb", for its incredible health benefits. Also, it can be extremely good for your skin as well, if used properly and regularly. Without further ado, let's get a look at some Thai basil face masks that you can easily prepare at home.

These masks can be used for every skin type.

Thai Basil + Gram flour + Honey

The combination of Thai basil, gram flour, and honey is beneficial for oily and acne-prone skin. It cleanses the skin pores and removes all impurities from there. Also, it has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties which prevent acne breakouts on your skin. Gram flour reduces oiliness on the skin and also fades acne scars to some extent. Honey, on the other hand, has humectant properties that provide moisture to your skin.

Mix 1 teaspoon of Thai basil paste with 1 teaspoon of gram flour and 2 teaspoons of raw organic honey. Apply the mixture to your face, leave it for 20 minutes, and then rinse it off with cold water.

Thai Basil + Turmeric + Aloe Vera

The combination of Thai basil, turmeric, and aloe vera is effective at lightening dark spots, and also enhancing your skin's complexion. Thai basil contains numerous properties that soothe the skin and make it flawless. Turmeric is packed with antibacterial properties which prevent acne, and further, make your skin clear. Aloe vera hydrates the skin, prevents acne breakouts, and also reduces hyperpigmentation. Also, it provides an abundance of freshness to your skin.

First, prepare a smooth paste using 1 teaspoon of Thai basil paste, 1 teaspoon of aloe vera gel, and a pinch of turmeric powder. Apply the mixture to your face, let it sit for 15 minutes, and then wash off with chilled water. Repeat the process at least twice a week.
