There is no doubt that the Suzuki Hayabusa is one such motorcycle that has mesmerized a majority of people for the longest of time. There was a time when the motorcycle could reach up to 312 kilometres per hour. However, this achievement was not welcomed by the rivals because of which, Suzuki had to limit the speed to 300 kilometres per hour. Not to forget, there was also an issue with its road-legality certificate.  In several parts of the world, the Hayabusa is used as a pursuit vehicle by law enforcement agencies. In 2006, a few Hayabusas were modified by the Oklahoma police department. The motorcycles were armed with radar systems, sirens and police lights. Not to forget, they were also painted in the official colour of the police department along with the police insignia.  Hayabusa is still one of the fastest motorcycles in the world. The recently launched 2021 model of the Busa reaches 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in merely 3.38 seconds. To reach 160 kilometres per hour, it takes 5.97 seconds.  Apart from powering cars, the engine of the Hayabusa has been used by many to propel tiny planes and aircraft.  Last but not least, an Indian movie named Dhoom became a massive hit in the entire world because the movie had a Hayabusa running on the streets of Mumbai. In the movie, actor John Abraham, who played the role of a bank robber, used the motorcycle for robbing and getting away in style!
