From PM Modi to President Biden, Top Political Figures Extend Wishes for Ramzan

The month of Ramzan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar.

From India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi to US President Joe Biden, several top political figures extended wishes for Ramzan. For the unversed souls, Ramzan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. It is considered to be a holy month when Muslims all around the world fast from dawn to dusk and shun all worldly pleasures.

PM Modi wrote, “Best wishes on the start of Ramzan.”

President Joe Biden said, “To my fellow Americans observing Ramadan, and to Muslims around the world: Ramadan Kareem- we wish you a blessed and peaceful Ramadan.” President Biden and First Lady Dr Jill Biden said that US has full support for the Muslim communities suffering hardships.

On Twitter, Delhi’s Chief Minister also wished all the Muslim brothers and sisters by writing, “Happy Ramadan to all of you. May this holy month of worship bring lots of happiness and progress in your life.”

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also wrote, “Ramzan Mubarak! May this blessed month bring love, happiness and togetherness to all.”

Last but not least, Congress President Mallikarjun also wished, "Warm greetings on the advent of the Holy Month of Ramzan — a month of prayer, blessings and forgiveness. Let us rededicate ourselves to the service of humanity and spread compassion, peace and amity. Ramzan Mubarak !".
