Tottenham lifted its first European trophy after 41 years, and it is not only a rare achievement football has witnessed so far in 2025
Tottenham Hotspur Football Club staff had a tough time cleaning the trophy cabinet. In fact, they even had a tough time finding the cabinet, given that the club had not won a trophy in well over a decade, not to mention 41 years without a European title. Therefore, when Tottenham lifted the Europa title by defeating Manchester United, the trophy cabinet needed a touch-up to add the trophy with honour.
