Tata Motors- Tata Motors is not merely the best truck manufacturer in India but is also the second-largest truck manufacturing company in the world after Germany’s Daimler Group. In January 2021, it was reported that the company earned a revenue of INR 102, 156 crores with a market cap of 70,750 crores. Around the world, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd has 57 manufacturing facilities. Ashok Leyland Ltd- A part of the famous Hinduja Group, Ashok Leyland Ltd is the second-largest manufacturer of commercial vehicles in the country. Not to forget, it is the fourth-largest manufacturer of buses and the tenth-largest manufacturer of trucks in the world. Every year, it manufactures around 60,000 commercial vehicles and 7,000 engines. In 2016, Ashok Leyland Ltd became the first truck manufacturing company from India to introduce an electric bus and a Euro 6 compliant truck. As of January 2021, the company earned a revenue of INR 24,785 crores. Some of the famous models from the company are the Titan Double-Decker bus, City Transit Bus, and the Tusker Twin Axle Lorry.
