An innovative Indian entrepreneur, based in the UAE, turned the dream of a 'sky-high wedding' into an extraordinary reality. This visionary businessman opted for an unconventional setting for his daughter's wedding ceremonies—a lavishly modified private jet. Captured in a captivating video, the event unfolded as Dilip Popley, the businessman, orchestrated his daughter's wedding aboard a splendid Jetex Boeing 747 aircraft on November 24 in the city of Dubai.
As the video opens, it unveils the interior of a bustling flight where joyous guests dance to the beats of "Tune Maari Entriyaan." Gradually, it reveals a dedicated space set aside for the ceremonial rituals. As the clip nears its conclusion, the groom graciously extends his gratitude to his father-in-law and his own father. Joining in, the bride expresses her astonishment, admitting that she never imagined she would encounter such an awe-inspiring experience.

The wedding party, including the bride and groom, traveled from Dubai to Oman for three hours while the ceremony took place onboard. Interestingly, Dilip Popley, who organized this unique event, had his own wedding on an Air India flight back in 1994, arranged by his father Laxman Popley. “Dubai holds my heart, and this aerial wedding marks the sequel to my own ‘wedding in the sky,’” Popley said. “I've always dreamt of doing this for my daughter and there's no place better than Dubai as it fulfils all the dreams.”
