Lord's Cricket Ground Welcomes '83 Screening

In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, director Kabir Khan was asked about the decision to hold the screening of '83 at Lord's Cricket Ground. Kabir Khan revealed, "No. Surprisingly, the Lord's management reached out to us. They suggested the idea, considering '83 is an iconic film that filmed its climax at Lord's. It seems to be a trend nowadays to showcase films in locations where they were shot. We have seen screenings of films like The Shawshank Redemption (1994) taking place in prisons."

Kabir Khan, the director of '83, expressed his excitement for the unique screening experience at Lord's Cricket Ground, assuring that it will be a delightful and enjoyable two-day event. He mentioned, "It'll be like a nice two-day picnic. There'll be Indian food available to the patrons.

An intriguing aspect of the screening of '83 is that ticket holders will have the unique opportunity to sit on the turf instead of the conventional stands. Director Kabir Khan expressed, "So the idea is to let people step onto the ground. That's where they can sit and enjoy the film on the big screen."
