5 rude things you should not do while doing grocery shopping

These things not only irritate the staff but also fellow customers There is a way you go and shop at a grocery market and if you do not follow the rules, it is very frustrating for shop assistants and shoppers alike. So make sure you never do these things in a grocery store: Never block the aisle with your cart. Just as there are street-traffic rules, the aisles of a grocery-store have their own etiquette. The cart congestion in the aisles can cause chaos and even lead to flaring tempers to food spills. This happens when most people forget that they are in a public space and totally block the way with their carts by stopping normal flow of people. Don’tdo your weekly shopping right before the store is set to close. Many staff members would not tell you this but they would not be able to help you when it's close to closing time. Just like it is rude to demand to be seated in a restaurant a few minutes before closing time, don’t go and hound the staff at a grocery market to provide your items before they are about to lock the doors for the night. Don't squeeze or touch the produce  While it is absolutely natural to want to check the condition of the products before purchasing it, always keep poking and prodding to a minimum. Not only is it considered a bad habit, you might also end up damaging the product and leading to a loss of revenue for the store. So make sure you are able to identify if an item is ripe by its appearance. Always make sure you wash your produce before eating as other shoppers might have done it, if you don’t. Never leave a mess behind  Dropping an item or knocking something over might be an embarrassing moment, but you need to tell the staff or the owner if you have accidentally spilled something inside the store. It will also help them to avoid any accidents or injuries that may be caused by slippery floors or broken glass. Don't open an item before purchasing it While you might think there is no harm in digging into a bag of chips you plan on buying, it is considered very bad if you open items before purchase and shopkeepers may even approach you for shoplifting. Just wait for a snack or drink, and pay for it before eating them.
