On her 37th birthday on Sunday, she treated all her fans with the announcement of her upcoming film, 'Bangaram'. But hold on, the twist here is she will not only be playing the lead but also don the producer's hat. Well, it simply couldn't be better!

The iconic actress also unveiled a first-look poster of the film, with the caption, "Not everything has to glitter to be golden. #Bangaram. @tralalamovingpictures… Starting soon.” In the poster, she can be seen blood-red in color and wielding a gun with a fierce look.

"Whilst there aren’t any further details revealed, 'Bangaram' certainly looks like an earthy, gritty tale that will go on floor soon and is expected to hit theatres in 2025," wrote trade analyst Ramesh Bala.

However, Samantha is not the first actress of Indian cinema to become a producer. Especially in recent years, numerous A-list actresses have ventured into the business, with some of them achieving success with their debut films.
